is the rio skimmer good enough to use on a aquapod? and will it fit on the hooded model, plus anyone have any ideas on how to make a refugium in the back of the tank?

The rio is just a skilter in a new box, avoid them if at all possible.

What do you consider not to expensive??? Also with a 12 gal a skimmer is not a necessary item but it never hurts.

oh well im currently upgrading to a aquapod 24g so i thought a skimmer was needed haha well is the nano skimmer good? or what other ones are there that are cheap and good?

I run a sea clown and have no problems with it, but it is in my sump so micro bubbles are a non-issue.

Little bit now it's time to get my tanks back into shape, I think I'm gonna teach the wife how to do some things for when I can't do them.
