so i posted in the newbie forum that im looking to get a 30gal long with build in overflow...
i have had some questions regarding the overflow and design and bulkhead size/mounting height and whatnot...
so here is my question...
the overflow is going be a 4"square, (two walls being black acrylic, and the other two being the back wall and left wall of the tank...
anyway... i think it will be a toothed overflow, and i was wondering where i should mount the bulkhead... if im correct, the bulkhead is just a peice that connects the hose to the tank... so where would this be mounted.. at the bottom of the overflow, middle, top, etc... also, do you attach something to the bulkhead within the overflow to prevent the suction sound??
and how do you match up a pump to return the water back to the tank from the sump??? ive heard of head pressure, 4' head pressure.. and all sorts of stuff...
i just want a quiet overflow... is this possible?
