I have a 10gal tank that I use to use for turtles when I was young. the tank is still water tight and everything and in very good condition.
could I transform that tank into into a sump/refugium for my 30gal or it's too small???

what do you guys think.

It should be fine... The sump for our 90g was made out of an old 15g tall. Our skimmer fits in there just fine. We have a separate refugium that I made out of a 20g.

Or you can use a hang-on skimmer like a berlin.

I used a 20 gallon as a sump/refugium for my 55 gallon. It really helps out on the water quality and I love it. I went with that size since it was the only thing that fit in my cabinet.
