Hi all,
I am from Bangladesh. Here normal water temperature is around 86F and in summer months it sometimes goes to 95F!!

Anyway that didn’t stop me from building this planted tank. The people you see in the pics are hired to do the job so I wouldn’t say it’s a completely DIY setup.
Actually this is the left side of my Entertainment cabinet. I have just completed the job and will go forward from here. Your suggestions and comments are most welcome and I am waiting for your feedback. BTW I cant ID all the plants I have collected ...

Very nice tank, love how it's part of your entertainment center. How many gallons does it hold?

BTW, 95f? Pffft. Yesterday here in south Texas, it was 115F. In the shade. ;)

Its an odd shape. Both arms of the 'L' are 4 feet. Height 24" and depth 22"/18". I have tried to calculate and found it about 125-127G
. 115F? I thought I live in the subtropics....

It will be a community tank: Neon tetra, other small tetra, harlequin rasbora, some live breeders, and dwarf Gourumi.
There is a Betta refugium in the left upper corner :)

Nice tank.

btw, that plant on the left in picture #17(?), I think it is not aquatic. That bamboo-looking type of plant. Not sure though. Is that water lettuce floating on the H2O surface?

Great job. How much did it cost you?

Great tank, I love the unusual shape it really works.
Here (North Queensland, Australia) it gets up around 95F - 100F in summer too. I've found plenty of surface agitation keeps my tanks cool through evaporative cooling, even in practically 100% humidity :).

khombre, you are right. That Bamboo like plant is not aquatic. I intend to grow it emerged. You know the kind kept in Betta Bowl…In fact there are 2 terraces in the tank and I am planning to put semi aquatic plants there as I have plenty of space above.

And yes that is water lettuce from a nearby pond :)
