Are Crypt. Wendtii Red, Bronze and Brown the same variety of Wendtii?

I've a specimin with long, tall, hammered leaves that was sold to me as the red variety. Since its grown quite taller than I anticipated, I'd like to move it to another part of my tank and purchase several other plants of the same variety to make a grouping. Unfortunatly, my local sources only offer bronze, and the plants are quite small so its difficult to judge if they are the same as my red...

thanks...

There is no way to tell but in your tank. The Tropica site gives good descriptions of the 4 most common C. wendtii cultivars:

But even with that, this is one of the crypts which varies for me a bit with the particular tank, so even history with me doesn't tell me how tall it will be in another of my setups. The green form tends to be the lowest, in part because it flattens when the planting is young and uncrowded, but still not tal later when crowded and more vertical leaves. The "brown" form is usually still tall even uncrowded. What I call the red (Mi Oya?) is still low, but I haven't had it long enough to say it will stay that way- for me it is slower. If it is really Mi Oya, it should get quite tall.
