dissappearing zoas?

I have a chunk with zoas on it but for the last 3 weeks they did not open for a week.

Now they open a little and look smaller and there arent very many of them anymore.

my shrooms and ric and trumpet are all fine, Im not seeing any nuds on them just pods here and there.

Pods can irriate them enough to close them up. But look closer for nudis and their egg spirals as well as other predators

Nudies are very specific in what they eat like Zoa eating nudies only eat Zoas monti eat nudies only eat monties and so on

I would try moving the zoos to a different location in the tank. Maybe higher up to gain more access to the lighting. Sometimes a little move like that is all it takes....

All this, while I assume your water quality is good.

i wouldn't think lack of lighting has anything to do with it in his tank tho, he's running MH on a nano...
