:help:Hi. First time user here and already am kinda stuck, I think. Started my 37 gl. 3 weeks ago. I am trying to cycle my aquarium with fish(added on Jan. 10) and am stuck with a .25 ammonia reading now for 1 1/2 weeks. First I made a 10% water change two times and levels remained at .5. Since then, I have made 25% water changes 2 times, added 'superbac' live nitrifying bacteria on Jan. 21 and reduced the ammonia level to its current .25 reading. I have 4 fish (2" green Terror; 1" jack Dempsey; 2 -1" tiger Barbs) all doing great. I only feed sparingly once-a-day. My ph is 7.6. I do see a few tiny brown spots on the substrate now. I have a Marineland Bio-wheel filter system and a 200 watt heater set at 78 degrees. When and how can I expect this ammonia level to finally break?
