Do bristleworms eat coraline algae? Lots of worms in my new live rock

I bought some live rock from the LFS and there are many worms, bristle worms, I think, that live in the rocks. I have seen at least three or four, the largest one looks about 4 inches.

It looked like one was munching on some coraline algae the other day but I don't know for sure.

The worms are red-orange with white legs. If they are eating the coraline algae is there anything I can do? A fish magazine was saying they are usually good for reef tanks unless it is one of three certain types that are harmful.
