Question about carpet anemone

I have a friend that is looking to unload a large carpet anemone, about the size of a volleyball cut in half. I'm wondering if I put it in my tank, my new clown would use it for protection. My concern is that he found his small wrasse in the anemone, dead. The other day it had a dead clown in it. I imagine the clown died and the anemone was opportunistic but with the wrasse, I don't know what to think. My water parameters are fine but my new clown needs shelter. Any thoughts???

The clown is the one I described in the other thread with the lemonpeel. It's a 75 gal tank. I didn't realize anemones could be aggressive so maybe I ought to back off.
