Is this some sort of aiptasia?
Should I get rid of them?

Also, can anyone ID the coral/polyp on the rock behind, it wasn't labelled.

Thanks

Aiptasia.....needs removing.... :) These can be removed via the joes juice method, boiling water or kalk paste...Looking at the size of the top one, i would say it will ahve to be injected to kill it....

Would i be right in saying that the polyps near to it do not open up fully???

You're right, they don't open all the way.
I will make a plan and remove them.

Can we inject lemon juice into them? And how do we get rid of the small ones?

I would suggest Joe's Juice with both of them..Using the boiling water method is very tricky as they are so close to the polyps...I would say this here goes for both of them...

ok, injected the big one but couldnt get to the smaller ones, so left them to grow abit, then started noticing more little ones popping up all over the polyps. so i phoned the pet store and asked if i could exchange the polyps, they had no problem. so i went there and exchanged it and got a much bigger and prettier polyp coral, and also bought a leather coral, elegance coral, skunk cleaner and more hermits! a simple exchange turned into a pricy visit! will post pics soon! yay they so beautiful!
