What is this on my Giant Hairgrass?

I was examining my hairgrass as parts of it are turning brownish, and when I took a closer look, it has what looks like cobwebs amongst the stalks. It is thickest where the grasses are brown, but it goes almost from top to bottom of the plant.

Can you tell me what it is and how to control/cure it? Thanks.

Yes I have read that. It kind of looks like Fuzz Algae to me, but in the picture on that site it looks green and non-connected.

The ones in my tank are white and all connected and interwoven like cobwebs.
