I am fairly certain that our black molly is pregnant as she has gained a fuller figure recently. The males that I have in the tank are an orange and white speckled molly and an orange and blueish grey colored platy. I was wondering if anyone has had these two colors breed together and what color the fry end up being. I am pretty sure that these are our baby makers because she has been at our house for over a month and didn't get big until recently. Also any help on how far my black molly is would be appreciated.

These are just colour varieties of Poecilia sphenops crossed with P. velifera. They interbreed freely. None of these colour varieties exist in the wild.

No I think you will have a mix of O B looking ones and mostly black with a red tint. Had one do the same and they came out like a blood red and as they grew up turned more black with red tint. Blue light a must
