picked up a new jewel about a hour or so ago. traded my jd in on it. they had 20 or so in the tank. some of them had chunks out of their tales. so i ask the guy if they had fin rot or fighting? you would have thought i had insulted his mother! i have bought several fish there and no probs at all. this is a asian guy that doesnt speak very good english. he said WHAT! he said man you know my fish very very good you buy my fish all the time man. no sick any my fish no sick! just fighting man no sick. i laughed [ do not think he thought it was funny at all] i said i know i know just asking. no sick he said. only 3 lfs in my area and he does have the best selection and best looking tanks. tyring to get pics now.
