I"m very upset. I have a 90 gal freshwater. I have 4 very beautiful large angels, a black african ghost knife, 2 plekos, 3 vampire shrimp, and 1 feeder guppy that lives under radar. This morning I found Ich on my angels and no one else. Infact there's still no signs of it on them. (The ich part really isn't the problem) Now that I've come home from work I've discovered a reddish colour on my angels. What is this red??? Is it harmful? I'd be upset not to be greeted in the morning :(

A pic would really help regarding the Angel. As already asked do please describe it in detail - blood red/pink/orangey and where exactly it is. Could just be a natural colouration.

Reddish color can be caused by several issues.

Natural coloration changes/breeding
On the gills - ammonia poisoning
On the fins/body - bacterial hemorrhagic septicemia
Spots where the ich is - wounding from the parasite.
On the tips of the fins/mouth - fin and mouth rot

So a little more detail is needed.
