Hey all, I'm trying to decide on a fish for my Biocube 8 nano. I was planning on picking up a hi fin banded goby, but I know that this fish can be extremely shy, and I'm worried that I'll never see it. I like the diadema dottybacks, and I know that this fish will be out in the open a lot more, but my search results have yielded mixed answers for minimum tank size, from 10-20 gallons. I understand that this is a very aggressive little fish, but there is nothing in the tank other than coral and I wouldn't add any other fish or shrimp with it.

Do you think I can get away with the dottyback as the only animal in the tank, or should I go for the banded goby? If I grab the goby, will I ever see it? lol.:help: I'd love to hear your input.

My guess is that with no other "threats" in the tank, the goby will come out.
