Idk, can you?

Is the tank brackish? does it have land. is it at least a 20g long?? do you have proper knowledge. can you light the tank to keep it at the right temp? ect ect ect.

Your kinda asking a question you need to ask your self.

Check your local rules and regulations before catching the mudskippers. They're brackish water fish needing half land and half water setup.;)

i want to have the water in a cointaner for easy cleaning mantain purposes...

I wouldn't do that. What species of mudskipper is it? I have mine in a 75gal with basically a dock area for her to climb out on, she spends way more time in the water than on land.

every mudskipper seems to be saying the different thing..
some people say the skip spend most of their time on land than on water, some is the opposite..

well, i havent really seen them closely, i saw them in their natural habitat..

you CAN keep wild caught mudskippers in your tank, but you may want to buy one from the store. you may get into trouble with the state.

plus, you can make sure mudskippers at a store will eat the food that you give them. if you go catch one yourself, it may not adjust.
