Temperature is usually what makes mine lay on the bottom. When it gets too warm, they lay on the gravel, stare at me and make their "too hot" faces.
LOL cute, flar hehehe... I would guess it's heat too and rushing to the top? well what goldfish do you know that would miss a meal?
haha, this is completely normal. Fish are like humans. When we're tired, we lay down.

i noticed one of the goldfish almost blood like scales, then i did a 50% water change, cleaned the filter, and added a air stone and it went away?
