Merely a pair is not going to guarantee you much success in breeding. Besides, you are better off leaving them in peace and who knows they'll breed someday without you knowing it.:)

My Ottos have breed, but have not had any babies.

Have never seen them breed, but one gets very "fat" then skinny again. So I think it is breeding somewhere in tank. This has happened about 2-3 times.

they are pretty hard to breed. Not 2 many succeed.

Guess to up your chances, have an oto only tank with a whole big bunch of them. Cover your filter intake, feed them well and have your fingers crossed.
