so i got this pleco from the guy down stairs with the two uncycled tanks
its a common, doesnt look like its eaten anything, its fins have bite marks on it from cichllds, and it was kinda half way dead when i got it
today it looks like it got a meal, and its more active

and yesterday he went out and bought another one and put it in a ten gal

thats 2 plecos that ive saved..what should i do with this one?

Probably best then if you don't take on any more such fish, well intentioned that you are.

You should pretty much start looking for someone with a good tank to take him off your hands asap so.

the prob is, i dont know any fish keepers in this area...i only know you guys
Well, it looks like you'll either have to get him ID'd - see if he is in fact a true common, and if so get a huge tank to keep him and the other one in - or rehome him.

:iagree:
It's very commendable that you keep saving these fish but you need somewhere to keep them or they're going to end up in the same state you got them in (not through neglect but through lack of space).
