Hi guys,

I have a planted tank that is having some serious night-time excavation, I don't know who to move out, but I assume it is either my 2 Siamese Flying Foxes or my 3 Botia Striata. Anybody know if I need to issue an eviction note to either family?

Thanks!

Botia striata.

If the plants aren't planted deep and they're rooting around for yummies then they could easily dislodge some plants.

I have nobody else is in the tank but a fleet of tetras, and an ancient betta, who never approach the bottom. I figured on the loaches, but I hoped not because they're so darn cute. I don't know all that much about them, is there a substrate they prefer to dig in that I can put a little patch of for them too root around in? I have noticed that they take out newer plants too, hard to put replacement plants in there when they keep getting dug up before they can establish.
