I'm pretty new to having fish. I've got a 40 gal. freshwater tank with 19 assorted fish. I want to get into salt water but I know nothing about it. Is there a big difference between starting a s.w. from a f.w.? Any suggestions would be great!!!

Hello and welcome to AC! There is a difference between salt and FW but as long as you do your research (can never research too much) it can be just as easy in my opinion!

Welcome, I just jumped into SW myself and it's not to hard once you research it. I am already cycling my 2nd SW tank.

Welcome! There are definitely big differences. Read up and post threads with your questions. There are plenty of great folks here to help you.
