do snails eat eggs?

The eggs hatch into larvae before they are removed from the swimmerettes so you should have no issue with the snails. Fish on the other hand would prey on the larvae and young shrimp.

Uh huh, the snail would actually have to catch the shrimp to get the eggs, and that isn't going to happen. I doubt they'd eat the pond snail eggs either.

hey do you think a mystery snail would mate with a spixi snail? There has to be 1 female out of the 9 that I am keeping!

I'm sure they'll try (apple snails are so horny...), but Mystery and Spixi Snails cannot breed with one another.

they will try to mate as mind do quite often but they cant produce eggs/babies together.
