Hi..

I had a mean fish in with my fancy tail guppies and it ate the fancy tail off, will the tail grow back? It was so pretty, it was bright yellow with black dots.

I think it will grow back, at least partially. One thing that will help--make sure you keep the water extra clean to prevent infection.

The tail should grow back. Just separate aggressor, do plenty of water changes and be patient.

I agree. Your guppy should be just fine. Just watch for any infections and keep up with your water changes.

I have to agree with the above posters. I think the tail will grow back and that water changes, large and frequent, will help accelerate the healing.

regenerating fins takes quite a long time. QT him if you can to make sure he is getting enough food and such.
