Snorkelling today, found some beautiful anemones attached under a pier. Anyone know if theres a way to convince them to let go the pilings and come live in my tank?

What would happen if you cut a piece off and transplanted that into your tank? I saw where a guy divided his by cutting them up.

I've read that the best tool for this is a disposable plastic spoon, turned upside down. the spoon becomes a wedge with no sharp corners. when you get about half of the spoon end under the anemone, you move over and pry the adjoining part of the animal. It's a slow process, so I hope you won't have to hold your breath while doing in over multiple dives.
