they say 10g per figure 8 and 30g per green spotted.

so does that mean i can have 3 figure 8's or one green spotted(1 g below recommended tank size) in a 29g?

and if not 3 figure 8's then 2? and can i throw in like 10 or so platies?

and if its just the green spotted will there be any room for tankmates?

i know puffers are agrressive just asking

well is very hard to plant brackish and if the salinity is low i can only have java fern and moss and some mangroves and if high just mangroves as far as i know

figure 8's can sometimes be ok with mollies. Would probably be wise to avoid. GSP's are ok as juvies with tank mates but as they get older keep them alone or sometimes u can make it species only.

i'd go for a pair of f8s top(its 15g per f8 btw) because they do well at lower salinities so you can keep live plants, while GSP need higher salinity. you are also much more likely to have success with other fish(like mollies) being mixed into the tank.

30g minimum for a GSP, so I'd rather go with a couple of F8s & some tankmates, for a more interesting set up.
