Pairing behaviour???!!! When they were young the bigger one chased around the little one...this is new...they have been going at it all night!

It could simply be a dominance order and this behavior is called "liplocking". My young angels do this from time to time and they aren't sexually matured yet. My spawning pair of severums also do this several times.
