the last pic is right before a much needed water change, so they were all at the top for air :/

They look like P. bridgesii to me more than P. canaliculata. And if you have canas, your plants should disappear in one night.
can you get pics of them from the other side? i am suspicious they are not canas. were they sold to you as cana's?
I may have to agree with lupi here. Canas also eat plants so i don't think the plants you have in the tank would last long. Maybe Jinkz will chime in on this one
