So I was asked by a friend who is closing down her pond if I would winter her plec, so of course I said yes. She told me it's was big about 4 in. and I have room in my 55 for that so today she brings it.:eek3::eek3: This is the 4 in plec I think I need to get her a ruler LOL LOL!!!!

I only had it like this for about 3 seconds long enough to snap the shot then right back into the water. He is actually very calm for a plec that size. Thanks for the opinion though:)

so that pleco just came out of the pond now? how low of a temp can common/sailfins handle?

i know fancier varietys are strickly tropical but i hear the above two are able to handle low 60's...can they go lower?
