i voted none have ever failed.
i will admit, though that i don't really care that the dial doesn't say what my thermometer says. i do have 2 heaters that are set to ridiculous temps to get what i'm looking for. they stay stable once they're set though and have for years... no further adjustment necessary. to be honest and forthcoming one of them is an old custom inline that's able to hit extremely high temps. the sticker on the dial was just placed in the wrong position. it still works great though... knock on wood.
