I am considering a UV sterilizer for my 55 that's having an outbreak of green water. What is a good but inexpensive brand? I don't need top of the line... I just want it to clear up my water :)

I have found the turbo twist models to be great.

if it is algae there are chemicals out on the market that may be cheaper than buying a whole new filter/sterilizer!!!

Stay away from chemicals.

Petsmart even sells some inexpensive 9watt Uv unit for 39.99. But if you dont wanna spend that much, there are safer options floating around this forum.
