Use Fluorocarbon Fishing Line - 6lb Test

I have used normal fishing line in the past and it looks really tacky.. The fishing line is far too noticeable to make what you are decorating look nice in my opinion.

So I decided to go out and buy some Fluorocarbon fishing line.
You really can not see this fishing line under water, it's almost completely invisible. Even while a couple inches from the glass, you can barely see it is even there at all.

Just to let everyone know, you should definitely use Fluorocarbon only.
It is more expensive, but $6 for 110 yards it's worth it.

I USED BERKLEY VANISH FLUOROCARBON :

I wrapped this rock with Fluorocarbon many times to tie down my Flame moss and everything else I have on my rocks.

flourocarbon also has a higher breaking strength for the given diameter of the line than std mono filament. it also is less degraded by sunlight..which means being aware that the line needs to be cleaned up when used for fishing and not left lying around.

I haven't tried fishing with it yet, I probably should use the left overs for my spinning reel and catch some little fish :evil_lol:
