I'm keeping 4 Steatocranus tinanti in a 75 gallon with a small assortment of African cichlids. I think I have a pair that has formed, and the female? is staying in a breeding cave.

Thanks! I enjoy them. They definitely are territorial fish, as they chase all others away from their spot.
Nice fish, I planning to get a Steatocranus pair with my africans. Where did you get the pot? What are they currently eating? Just wondering.
Sorry, I missed this post. I bought the breeder cave from Dave's Rare Aquarium fish, but I'm not certain if he has any more of them.
They eat...whatever you feed them. They will eat flake, but I tend to switch it up with shrimp pellets and algae wafers. They are not picky.
