Hello folks,

My SO has a couple of goldfish in a 20 gal tank, and they both have some form of lumps on them...

The first one, looks like a grain of rice attached to the fin..I have tried to get a decent pic of it, but, failed misserably...

The second one, has a white "blob" on its fin..Looks to be a fungus too me....again, i have tried to get a decent picture of it, honest....LOL

What are peoples thoughts on these please??

My photography skills suck, LOL, so dont hate on me....

Hey Niko, I agree with V - it looks like carp pox or lymphocystis to me. Both are viral and unfortunately incurable, but fortunately they aren't fatal and don't seem to cause the fish any discomfort. So keep the water clean and feed quality food and they should be fine. The bumps will come and go throughout the fish's life, but as long as they don't grow, burst or get infected, don't worry about it.
