is this true? can i dye sand and save a ton of money trying to fill my 100 gallon - with black sand by dye'n it?
Yeah everyone wants real stuff but what you buy out of the store isnt always real, gregDye sand? How would you dye it? You want natural sand and NO DYE. Real black sand is volcanic sand.
Totally agree with Greg. I don't think dye in ANY tank would be a good idea.You can buy back sand from Marine Depot, so I'm sure you can get it some other places. I don't think dye in a salt tank would be a good idea.
The Marine use sand is natural. Yes, there is pink Fiji sand commonly available. I don't think about how they turn it colors, I KNOW that they don't.How do u think they turn it certain colors in the store? I dont think pink sand is something natural
