What type of lighting would I need for an anemone? I really want clownfish. I saw a pair of clowns at the LFS. Everytime I go there, the clowns are peeking from their anemone. I know I don't absolutely need an anemone for clownfish... I'm just wondering :)

4-6wpg, depending on the anemone species. A BTA paired with a Maroon Clown is a great way to go.

This is true. Not only do clownfish not need an anemone to thrive, many tank-raised clowns will never even pay any attention to anemones.

Greg <~~~ right as usual.. Clowns will take many things as their hosts. My Tomato usta live in a feather duster, then a hole in the rock, now finally in my BTA.

Greg, hey dood, haven't seen you around lately =) Was kinda wondering if you fell into a black hole and vanished like so many others ;)
