Pros
First thing I look for in a canister is quick disconnects. After spilling gallons of water with other canisters I won’t buy any others without the easy disconnect valves. Also unlike other filters it comes out of the box with options. It comes with a spray bar or power jet nozzle. I also like there is a cap on top of the intake tube to add water to prime the filter. Another great option they added is the adjustable flow on the output. Not that I’ll ever slow the flow but it has a airline in I use to diffuse co2 in some tanks.
Cons
A little hard to reprime but not as hard as others I have used.

Never broke down. Even with the increase in price still worth every penny.

This is the only canister I run at this time and just one of two canisters I would buy.

Easy to set up and tear down. Filter pads are not an odd shape so it is easier to cut and fit different filter pads.
Cons
The hinges that hold the top on are held on there by two small plastic pcs and once they break off you are done. Mine broke the other day after 5 great years of service.

4 (would be 5 if it wasn't for the hinges)
