I have more than a ton of plants in my tank and i just tested the water and got a reading of

154 for water hardness
nitrates 0
nitrites 0

Is this water hard enough to not have to use a gh booster?

I do 50% water changes a week and i was hoping that would be sufficiant.

Also I was going to order ferts for the tank and i was wondering if this would cover it

potassium nitrate
mono potassium phosphate
potassium sulfate
CSB-plantex

Also there are 8 black skirt tetras and 2 otos.

The reading above was before the water change after a week.

If for the time being until the ferts get here should i take some water from my cichlid tank that has some nitrates in there to help?

This tank i want to make very clear has some many plants that i could not find enough room on the bottom so i have them floating on the top.

How much daily / through the day should i be adding to this tank?

There is flourite in this tank as well.

Plants:
anubis
green ludwigia
ludwigia repens
corkscrew val
java fern
4 plants i am not sure of
micro sword
5 amozon swords
1 brazilian sword

all in a 29gallon tank.

One of the plants has a redish leave that is half a foot long.

I will show picks of tank after i get this fert thing settled.

I would not add water from another tank into this tank--may introduce something you do not want.

Lights?? What kind?? CO2?? KH and GH numbers may help.

Ferts--Look OK to me.

Not sure about the kh or gh

I thought about it later, you are right the cichlid tank may have some sort of alage or who knows what in the water that may affect my tank. They are also completely different PH levels.

So do you think that daily dosing to the recomended levels that are supposed to be in the tank for plants daily will work?

Should i be adding the ferts every day or only three times a week spread out?

After i get the ferts i want to make sure that the plants are recieving what they need.

Me, personally--I only dose twice a week. I does right after a water change and again 3 days later. Have been doing this for years.
