I'm going to be putting together a pressurized system for my 15 gallon, but I'm on a bit of a tight budget (yay for being a college student).

I'll have to find the tank somewhere around me (btw, what size should I be looking for. I was thinking 5lb, but I'm not sure)

As for the regulator / whatever else, I found a couple things on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/AQUATEK-CO2-Reg...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

http://cgi.ebay.com/Milwaukee-MA957...5|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:1|293:1|294:50

I just don't know much about this stuff, and I don't want to pick something that is cheaper but is also faulty.

I also know I need a needle valve (although that second link comes with one).

any suggestions are welcome

thanks :)

both have a needle valve and both regulator will work but both needle valves are not the best (tend to move over time). also you should be fine with a 5lb cylinder just check around your local welding supply places, I've also hear of liquor stores might fill them too but don't quote me there, for prices you will probably be ablt to get one online for cheap. also check out craigs list for CO2 equipment you might be able to find some stuff there too.

also a word for the wise, what makes a Pressurized CO2 system good is a good needle valve or metering valve. you might be able to find a good one for cheap on ebay two high class names for them are Ideal and Swagelok. i know of people who have found swagelok metering valves on ebay for $0.99 when thay are worth like $127 retail. if you do find one that cheep my suggestion would be to buy it and replace the needle valve that is on the regulator now.

This is the same road I'm traveling currently. I just picked up a reg and 20lb cylinder. Now to find the other pieces and parts. I was looking at FloridaDriftwood.com for the solenoid and needle valves just to get started.
