even though i have 3 check valves in my 2L co2 setup i still find that water starts creeping up through the tubing whenever i change a bottle or if i need to move things around. what could cause this?

setup is like this:
2L bottle, tube, check valve, tube T connector
2L bottle (#2), tube, check valve, tube, t connector.

goes to more tubing to a check valve then to the tank

i dont know why this keeps happening but when it does i know that i have no co2 going into my tank....im confused! :help::confused:

It can still happen, even if they're new. Aquarium check valves are far from high grade.

Other than check valves, I would say that it's due to air being compressible.

How far is the water coming up the tubing?

Maybe you need a little more yeast perhaps

i think it is all fine now. i was reading last night when all of the sudden i start to hear this funny noise coming from the fish tank....

realized it wasnt my filter but it was actually my co2 working properly for the first time!
