hey there i'm just looking at some prices and stuff and can't make up my mind on which setup to with and had some questions

with FOWLR do you need any special lighting? i just have two flourescent lights in this hood i got with the 75 gal tank

with a reef type setup does water quality have to be exact and perfect? (i'm just starting this hobby)

and what fish am i limited to in my tank with FOWLR or reef?

thank you

normally you don't need any special lighting for FOWLR except that some corraline algae do better with it.

for Reef tanks, the emphasis is more on invertabrates, like anemones, starfish, etc. and water specs. do need to be more closely monitored than in a FOWLR tank.

As to what type of fish you can have, for Reef, you generally want to have "reef safe" fish that won't eat or be eaten by the invertabrates.
