    Mini update: with new plants. There are a couple of major areas where the tail fin is knitting back together, and little fluid sacks seem be staying. Hopefully these aren't a sign of relapse, and won't impede healing too much.

    Geekboy, it's normal to see a few lumps and bumps as the fins heal up. These will smooth out with time. Your comet looks massively better. Great to hear!

    Hey Geekboy, did your fish ever fully recover? I have started this thread after recognizing that my veiltail has exactly the same symptoms as you described your fish had.
