hey everyone I am new to this site. I recently started an aquarium about two months ago. my Dog faced puffer started to get a grey blotch on its back yesterday. today it has spread a little larger. Just wondering what it could be and what I need to do to get him healthy again. He is eating fine but it just looks like it bothers him a little bit every now and then. there are no white spots on him so I ruled out ich but I may be wrong. I'm not sure any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance I'll try and get a pic up of it as well asap

Welcome to AC!

I'm not much of a disease expert, but it would be best if you can post a clear picture (or two) of what you're referring to. I'll keep an eye out for a pic.

Sounds like a bacterial infection, but it could be a number of different things, like Amyloodinium or even Brooklynella (the latter is relatively rare in fish other than clowns). A pic would help tremendously.
