Hi, I have just setup a 100 gallon tank and was looking for input on my current tank stock. I have 3 JDs, 1 Jaguar Cichlid, 1 Tiger Oscar and a Sailfin Pleco. All the Cichlids above are still rather small (3" to 5") but my Pleco is 10". My questions is in your opinion is my tank overstocked and am I looking at problems down the road when the Cichlids get older?

It isn't overcrowded right now but your tank will eventually become cramped along the way. You'd end up keeping the pleco (if it doesn't end up beaten up by any of your fish) while you have the option to choose a lone jaguar, an oscar and a JD or a pair of JD.

At adult size, that is quite a load for a 100 gal tank. Don't be surprised if it ends up a Jag only tank.

Keep an eye out for torn fins and missing scales. That's when you know your tank is getting to small. The oscar is likely the first one to get damaged.
