Awesome tank. :) my dad used to have a racoon butterfly, one of my favorites. A really cool assortment of fish, overall, definitely different!

Really great tank, its so different. It reminds me of a place I dive where seaweed grows near/on a rocky area and then a little deeper out is reef.

I keep butterflyfish, I've found them to be really friendly fellas and definitely a must for a FOWLR tank. Nice raccoon.

thanks everybody! the mushroom scorp eats live shrimp, silverside bits and scallops, hes pretty active for a "rock" :D

the butterfly is my newest fish, hes one of the healthiest looking fish iv ever bought

as for the seaweed i like the look but it always gets weighed down with detritus, i put it all in another tank so i can do some cleaning. is there any hardcore detritivores out there because it has a habit of piling up in this tank...?

made a mistake yesterday, i bought a lunar wrasse in a time of "weakness" which i suppose i didnt realize got too big for my tank:flamed:

apparently i need to do more reaserch on a good wrasse for my tank, but no regrets. its a great little fish and if i could find an awesome home for my two occ. clowns on CL then im sure a ill find a nice big tank for him as well when he gets too big

Too big AND too mean for your tank. Those things, for the most part, are extremely aggressive. No snail, crab, or shrimp have a chance of living with a Lunar in the tank. The juviniles are much more tame than the adults.. but they just get meaner and bigger every day you have it. I do think they are very nice looking fish though, love the coloring and pattern on them.

well for now hes content with swimming like crazy but ill keep watch for aggression, is their any wrasse species that would work?
