As in, before they appear under the tail? The first time Mandy was berried, she was normal one day, and all eggy-fied the next. Do they start to form inside the tail, or in her abdomen? I'm curious mainly because her tail has slowly been getting darker the past week, turning that dark brownish gray that her eggs were.

I don't actually know. I just assumed that the females have ovaries. I know that nothing occurs in the tail (which is the abdomen and is a muscle) so the eggs must form in the cephalothorax someplace.

they are pretty good. Both are growing. Mandy has been missing a claw for a couple months, waiting for her to molt to see if she'll grow anything back.

Hows things up there?
