I have recently adopted 3 clown loaches. 1x 5 inch and 2x 3 inch to go with my 2 i already had.... there is a considerable difference in colour... my original 2 are bright and defined... the adoptees are very pale... are they unwell? the tank they come from looked very clean and healthy and from a knowledgable owner. I am a newby at this but have been responsible for my tank with no fatality's that im very pleased about... any advice would be greatly received!

It could be just due to the stress of moving, then getting used to potentially different water parameters. I would think they'd start looking fine within a few days. It could also be partly due to diet, food can have some influence on fish's color and if they were getting food with different vitamins and nutrients, that might affect it as well.
