yo yos and cichlids

I know its been asked before but i need to know for this weekend. can i put my yo yos in with brichardis. I have a group in with my malawi already and they do fine so they might get put in that tank

I wouldn't, especially if the brichardis are breeding or in any way a mixed sex group.

I kept yoyos with a number of different cichlids, including brichardis. Cichlids find out quickly that it doesn't pay to play dominance games with something that has face barbs and lightning quickness.

My Golden AE found out the same way with my pack of 4 Yo yo's (i say pack as they do seem to act as one and take on anything that has a pop at them)

As long as there a big enough size or there barbs are for that matter they should be fine.
