Cool Jeremy! It's too blurry & I don't have any hillies but could you see eggs? Without the big girth differences I would have guessed a territorial dispute.

Fishorama, the first time I thought the same thing but they dug out the depresion in the sand. And then they covered up the depresion, very similar to Jim Power's discription of L. disparis breeding.

Now you just need a breeding tank for them! I know you have other fish that would love eggs & fry. Maybe a 20g long with powerhead on a sponge filter...

LOL. I am actually going the other way around the H. tweedi and sumos are going to be moved to their own tanks.
