i have been keeping these guys for well over a year now. I have them in a 29g with some amanos and tylo snails. I have had tons and tons of berried females, but the survival rate of hte young is slow. I just figured out why, I caught an amano noshing on one. Pulled out the amanos to another tank and found another berried female today. Fingers crossed the survival rate is higher for the young now:

it could be partly my fault, I don't feed most of my shirmp tanks adn the amanos in that tank were well over 2 years old. I moved them in with the discus. Keep in mind too, adult spinata are .5" so they are very teeny.
