with live rock, 1cleaner/2peppermint shrimps, 1green mandarin, 1strawberry pseudochromis, 1hermit crab

aquari-sol, quick cure, mardel coppersafe, jungle ich guard, kordon ich attack, kordon rid ich +, fishvet no-ich marine ?

i had ick in my reef tank a while back..i used Kick Ick...it's exspencive but it works..it won't hurt corals or live rock..i think it was around 40 bucks for a liter bottle..

I don't recommend any medications in your case. Kick-Ich is not universally effective, either, nor is it universally safe. The only tried and true method is quarantine followed by hyposalinity or Cupramine treatment (the only copper-based additive I can recommend).

^ Also live rock and sand can absorb medications possibly rendering them ineffective or they could release them at a later date and possibly toxify your system. Great excuse for a QT setup.

that's not good. I have a lot of live rock. I am continuing to treat for ich after getting decimated, so with no fish around the cleaner & peppermint shrimps, hermit crab, mushrooms & the live rock hitchhikers are all surviving.

there is no sure way of totally eliminating ich in a SW tank right?

oh no! petsolutions.com has great sale till may31st & free shipping on live fish. it will only be 3wks w/o fish.

I notice those little gray shrimps are bold enough to come out n play & walk on the algae glass! also some sort of soft snails are mu?itplying, all w/o fish.

well, stand corrected. I just released my 6line wrasse from its breeding cage at top of tank to see if it will contract ich, as a tester.
